Abbots Care are award-winning care company with an outstanding CQC rating; we are looking for an Live in carer to provide care for a lovely couple in Verwood this package is being paid at £800 a week and £35.00 food allowance.

It is important that you have at least 6 months UK professional care experience; as a care assistant, live in carer or support worker

We are looking for a caring, understanding, calm & compassionate person who will have the ability to become a friend and companion to the service user

The role of a live-in care assistant is a varied one


Duties include:

  • Providing companionship within the service users own home.
  • Supporting and assisting with personal care.
  • Preparing meals and associated domestic tasks.
  • Prompting and administering medication
  • Supporting your service user with their hobbies and social interests.
  • Accompanying your service user to appointments, social events and recreational outings.
