Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire

As a Planner you will work closely with suppliers to ensure raw material and component availability and optimal stockholding. You will have strong Interactions and partnership with Production Planning team and Suppliers consistently.

The material's Planner will report to the Material Manager and is responsible for ordering a subset of components across all brands at Reckitt.


In this role you'll:


  • Liaise with Packing Planners to ensure materials for production plans are ordered and delivered in time.
  • Have a clear handover process and communication between Factory planners and inbound suppliers.
  • Communicate component & raw material requirements to suppliers to ensure on time delivery.
  • Manage forecasting and BCP with Material Manager for your components.
  • Ensure acceptable stock levels are maintained for Reckitt raw/pack.
  • Ensure all component items have the correct item status to enable issuing and control of materials.
  • Identify and agree action plans for aged stock & expiring stock.

You'll succeed because

You:


  • Have previous production planning experience in an FMCG, Pharmaceutical or Retail environment.
  • Can demonstrate strong problemsolving skills through your ability to manage multiple activities and respond to changing priorities.
  • Are experienced working as part of a multifunctional team, ability to network & build effective working relationships with people within and external to the organisation at all levels.
