Looking for a way into Education and are unsure where to start? Already have experience in working with children and want to gain more? Let Milk Education support you We are looking for Youth Workers who would like to get into education and gain some extraexperience in a learning support role.

Milk Education is currently working with a number of mainstream Secondary Schools in the Heywood, Rochdale and the surrounding areas and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work in our schools as an LSA, workingwith pupils with challenging behaviour, barriers to learning and SEND.

We have varied roles that can be long term, short term, or day to day.

This is an opportunity for you to work flexible days alongside other commitments or can also lead to a permanent positionfor the right person - we aim to fit your needs and what you are looking for.

This Role Includes

  • Supporting the class teacher
  • Working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
  • Working with children who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language
  • Motivate, encourage and inspire children Required Skills And Experience
  • Experience working with children in the last 2 years (voluntary welcome)
  • Enthusiastic and creative approach to supporting children
  • Willingness to travel across the borough of Manchester
  • Available immediately to start work
