We're helping one of Bristol's best loved studios; a world-leader in animation to find a Production DevOps Engineer to join their Digital Production Technology department in Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a studio responsible for someof the best loved characters and productions, with huge upcoming projects in the pipeline.

They're consideringmid-senior level options for this role, so the salary range is negotiable (it's brand-new to the business so flexible).

Due to the nature of the work, this role offers hybrid working and will require 2-3 days on-site per week.


What experience you'll need:


  • Multisystem exposure to System Administrator level (Windows, Linux, Mac).
  • Knowledge of technical solutions, design & implementation.
  • Skilled in cloudbased configurations & deployments (AWS, Azure or similar).
  • Understanding of SAN solutions (fibre channel, iSCSI etc.).
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure.
  • Awareness of data & cyber security.
  • Scripting or programming skills (Python, Perl, PowerShell etc.) would be beneficial.
  • Any knowledge of games engines, animation, media, CGI, mobile, consoles, VR etc. would be useful.
**What you'll be doing
**This brand-new role reports into the Senior Support Engineer, working closely with the production & development teams through the entire project lifecycle. You'll focus on improving the efficiency of software development/deployment across both on-premand cloud-based systems. This involves provisioning technical infrastructure, contributing to pipeline development for new software builds, monitoring system usage, capacity & scalability, as well as ensuring all networks & data are secure and accessible.

You'll act as support escalation for any software or hardware issues, as well as mentoring/managing their current Interactive Support Engineer who sits in the same department.
