As a Deputy Head of Healthcare with Practice Plus Group you will be responsible for partnering with the Head of Healthcare for the effective day-to-day operational management of all clinical services across the site.

As well as support the management of all service level agreements, ensuring performance-monitoring standards are adhered to and the highest standards of care are maintained.


As a member of the wider management team in HMP Five Wells you will be responsible for providing the day to day clinical and operational management of our diverse healthcare teams within National and Local Guidance.


The role would ideally suit an individual who is passionate about delivering and driving forward high standards of care and service delivery and has the ability to promote and inspire the workforce though robust clinical supervision and professional development.

This role is a 12 month secondment to cover maternity leave.


About You:


You will be able to provide evidence of your leadership ability and will have undertaken management training, with an understanding of clinical governance and staff management.

You will have an awareness of risk assessment and managing budgets.


Ideally you will be a registered adult or mental health nurse with experience of working in custodial or secure setting, but this is not essential.

You'll receive an annual salary up to £51,610 per annum - depending on experience.
