Role Summary


The Dealing & Settlement team is responsible for the completion of the tasks associated with the daily Postal Sharedealing sale and purchase instructions processed by the Operational Team.


The jobholder's responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team to deliver their daily objectives.
  • Covering the work when staff are absent.
  • Update SIRIUS with new offerings and bank accounts etc;
  • Check all procedures are documented, when changes occur ensure they are updated and changes communicated to the team. All procedures to be reviewed at least annually.
  • Work with colleagues to identify and then implement process improvements.
  • Assist the Project Team with Testing


Due to the nature of the role applicants will need to demonstrate a high level of risk awareness and attention to detail.


Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support to the Assistant Manager and oversee the successful running of the team
  • When required provide project support ensuring own deliverables are on time and to specification
  • Liaise with internal and external departments where appropriate with regards to the resolution of outstanding issues ensuring that any issues are raised to line management.
  • Periodically review procedures and ensure they are applied across the team.
  • Identify opportunities for business process improvement and drive through change.
  • Ensure that all correct control procedures are adhered to and a full audit trail is always recorded and maintained.
