Behaviour Mentor (Secondary School):
Are you passionate about supporting young people and creating positive learning environments?
This
Ofsted outstanding rated secondary school in Hackney is seeking a dedicated
Behaviour Mentor to work 1:1 with a student who requires additional support due to
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviours.
What will you do?
- Provide
individualized support to the student, working closely with the class teacher. - Develop and implement
positive behaviour strategies in collaboration with the school team. - Foster a
supportive and nurturing environment that encourages the student's growth and learning.
Collaborate with the class teacher to assist with classroom preparation and management.
What are we looking for?
- Experience working with
children in a school setting.
Proven success in supporting students with
special educational needs and/or challenging behaviours.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build
rapport and trust with young people.
Calm, flexible, and adaptable approach.
- Commitment to
supporting the school's ethos and creating a positive learning environment for all students.
