What you will be doing
Supported by two direct reports, you will be responsible for the operational implementation and management of technical (cyber) controls to safeguard the Pepper Money technology estate, ensuring cyber security is considered in all aspects of technology procurement, development, implementation and operational monitoring, providing oversight of Information.
You will also be responsible for the security systems, controls and governance arrangements in accordance with the Company's Information Security Framework, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
This will involve maintenance of the overarching internal control structures providing advice to the First Line of Defence about their obligations in respect of Information Security, in addition to the operation of the Companys Cyber defences.
Acting as the reference point for all Infosec and Cyber related audits undertaken by third party stakeholders you will be responsible for coordinating audit activities, managing responses and dealing with issues.
Your role will be key in achieving our business plans and objectives safely and securely, providing oversight and monitoring of any related incidents that arise within the organisation.
You will provide key internal stakeholders with the tools, methods and guidance to identify and manage information processing risks and will be responsible for the provision of training and communication to engage and educate the company about related processing risks and obligations.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive knowledge of cyber security technologies, technical security policies and security control mechanisms.
- Cloud security, particularly the Azure suite of security tools (including but not limited to Sentinel, Defender, Key Vault, AIP, Conditional Access Policies, MFA)
- Experience of managing multiple complex cybersecurity solutions and programmes of work.
- Good knowledge of information risk analysis and management.
- A good working knowledge of ISO/IEC27001, ideally supported by a recognised qualification.
- NIST and/or ISO27001 cybersecurity framework.
- Minimum of seven years working in technology or a closely related field.
