Bradford Children and Families Trust (BCFT) are looking for, A Placement Coordination Officer.

  • Role is for an experienced placement coordination officer.
  • Must have a lot of experience in, and knowledge of, commissioning and placement.
  • Needs to be very experienced in commissioning and have experience of finding and arranging placements for children. Suitable person must have a lot of experience in Childrens placements.
  • Must understand different between registered and unregistered placements and ideally have some experience of pulling together unregistered placements.
  • Must be able to work in an extremely busy, fast paced and demanding environment arranging placements at short notice.
  • Must be able to commit to work late when it is required to ensure a child is placed.
Tasks and expectations

Working as part of a team this role undertake the following tasks:

  • Finding and setting up placement and unregistered/unregulated placements. The role will ensure all the basics are done e.g. all due diligence checks etc such as calling up property and agency providers re placements e.g. air b and bs and rentals etc and ensuring all the staffing teams are in place.
  • Will need to arrange and attend meeting re these placements ensuring they are fully managed and recorded.
  • Ensure the consolidation of all work re all placements in one place and do the monitoring and reporting on this
  • Be part of a system to monitor all invoices and payments and what we are paying and to whom, particularly why we are paying it and what we are getting for our money.
  • Help develop and implement best practice systems and processes ensuring we have everything in
