Responsibilities / Position overview:


We are seeking a health economics or life sciences professional to join our HTA and Value Communications team within our wider Health Economics and Outcomes Research division as a Senior Research Associate.

The Senior Research Associate will have multifaceted responsibilities spanning project delivery, business development, client engagement, and team management.


Key duties include:

  • Project delivery from a technical leadership perspective aligned to team specialist skills and services which include:
  • Clinical research, including desk-based research through to semi-systematic review
  • Development of value propositions and dossiers to support market launch of new products
  • Development of reimbursement strategies and dossiers for submission to health technology assessment (HTA) agencies across Europe and beyond
  • Project and task management, including time and workload management to ensure that multiple deliverables are delivered on time and to the expected quality
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team to ensure that project deliverables are aligned to overarching project objectives and agreed narrative
  • Involvement in team management, which could include line management for up to 5 team members and/or onproject mentoring and support for technical team members
  • Involvement in reactive and proactive business development activities, including potential project scoping, proposal and budget development
  • Involvement in recruitment process and decisions, team induction / onboarding and learning and development programs

Qualifications:


We are looking for an enthusiastic visionary with a flexible and team-focused approach and a desire to play a key role in our committed HTA & Value Communications team.


Specific skills and experience required include:

  • A relevant academic background in HEOR or life sciences
  • At least 3 years' professional experience in HEOR or market access, preferably in a consultancy, HTA agency or pharmaceutical environment
  • Technical clinical research and analysis skills specific to HEOR evidence generation and synthesis with the ability to identify and interpret complex information
  • Knowledge of and experience in HTA and market access, including development of reimbursement strategies and dossiers for submission to local agencies
  • Knowledge and experience in value communications, including development of value messages and core / global value dossiers
  • Technical writing skills with the ability to convey complex information as a cohesive narrative
  • Good communication skills with the ability to adapt communication tactics depending on topic and audience and confidence communicating with multiple, varying stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects to scope (including quality, timelines and budgets) and resolve issues and challenges as they arise
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
