About the role:
As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will look after the quality-of-service requirements for cloud architecture, govern the People First hosting and deployment strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Own, oversee, evangelise, and drive the People First cloud qualityofservice requirements delivery.
This includes but not limited to:
- SLA/SLO/SLI
- Data sovereignty, data protection and security
- Performance, reliability, availability, and capacity
- Private and public cloud compatibility
- Mentoring and developing technical skills within the Cloud Fabric, Cloud Services and Engineering.
- When time permits develop production ready infrastructure for the engineering to use.
- Produce proof of concepts that could be handed over to the engineering or platform team for fullscale development.
- Producing technical design documents that clearly communicate cloud infrastructure architecture.
- Undertake research as required and attend conferences and events, documenting afterwards to extend the team knowledge.
- To define the business's continuous delivery and infrastructure guidelines.
