At CooperSurgical we are currently looking to recruit a
Good Inwards Inspector. You will be part of the CooperSurgical Quality team, reporting to the Quality Supervisor.
Falmouth, Cornwall UK. It's an office-based role.
Position
The main focus of the role of
Goods Inwards Inspector will be the inspection of incoming components and generating the reports for these.
As part of the position, you will maintain the RI calibration program including planning off-site calibrations.
You will assist in the ongoing supplier evaluation and monitoring program.
You thrive in a dynamic environment and will be comfortable working both independently and as part of the wider Quality team.
You will work closely together with the Quality and Engineering teams and other relevant stakeholders.Your key responsibilities
- Performing Goods Inward Inspections
- Maintenance of calibration program
- Assist in inspections of subassemblies and Finished Goods
- Support internal Quality related tasks
- Ensure support of RI Quality standards
Your Qualifications
- Educational background preferably mechanical engineering
- Experience in a similar role, preferable within medical device
- Problemsolving, structured, and systematic approach
- Good communicator and team player
- Selfdriven
- Robust and flexible mindset
- Proficient level in MS office
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory
