**Procurement Director (FMCG)
West Yorkshire
£80,000, depending on experience**Do you have the energy, drive and passion to lead a developing Procurement function within a forward-thinking and modern SME?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Procurement Leader to join the senior leadership team of an established FMCG business going through an exciting period of growth and development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a robust, fit for purpose procurement strategy which will support the business' short, mid and long term objectives, and manage risk
  • Assume full ownership of Procurement P&L and supplier side commercial activity
  • Deliver annual savings targets for specific categories / commodities
  • Partner with the business as required, in particular supporting with NPD, innovation and VA/VE activities
  • Lead a team across Procurement and Manufacturing (based in the UK and Far East)

Ideal Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in a senior leadership role within Procurement
  • Drive, energy and passion to operate at board level in a fast paced environment
  • Experience of both raw materials and finished goods procurement within an FMCG environment
  • Proven track record of supporting NPD and innovation through VA/VE
  • Global sourcing experience with strong commercial acumen
  • Honed leadership and management skills
