About the Role:

As an Accounts Senior, you will be working within a well-established General Practice team.

You will work in a supportive environment with exposure to a diverse range of high-quality accounting, financial and business services to both companies and individuals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a dynamic portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
  • Prepare and submit yearend accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements with precision and efficiency.
  • Reconcile client accounting records via Excel or accounting software.
  • Client Payroll; weekly, monthly, and yearly.
  • Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Utilise your expertise in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to streamline processes and enhance client experiences.

About You:


  • Qualified Accountant with a proven track record in General Practice.
  • Experienced in managing and/or mentoring junior members of a practice team, with a focus on driving results and exceeding expectations.
  • Adept at navigating professional regulations and best practices, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact.
  • Selfmotivated, detailoriented, and adaptable to evolving business requirements.
