About The Role:
The Housing Options team is a busy statutory frontline service which seeks to sympathetically yet robustly assist those households who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
You will be supporting the Housing Assessors to efficiently triage approaches for homelessness assistance and advice whilst also providing support to the Triage Team Leader where required.
You will need to be able to work reactively and flexibly to changing demands and be able to navigate complex housing scenarios using legislation.
You will also support our Tenancy Sustainment Officers in their work to sustain tenancies, prevent homelessness and provide robust move on support to those moving into permanent accommodation.
There is a requirement for the post holder to be able to work flexibly across the Housing Options team to support all staff; Housing Assessors, Tenancy Sustainment Officers, Team Leaders and Housing Caseworkers when required.
You will have the support of a number of different teams based within the service to help you deliver the best options for our customers.
Are you skilled in professional relationships?
Are you customer-orientated with exceptional communication skills?
Do you have an eye for detail?
We require individuals with a keen attention to detail, capable of gathering, collating, and analysing information efficiently and meticulously.
If you have a talent for uncovering the facts and piecing together information to inform decisions, we want to hear from you.
Can you excel under pressure?
We are seeking resilient individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrating efficiency, empathy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
If you can maintain your composure and deliver results under tight deadlines, you could be a perfect fit for our team.
