Description

You will ensure that service users, materials and equipment are safely and appropriately transferred around the hospital to the standard required whilst delivering an effective and efficient service that meets contractual obligation, KPIs and in accordance with agreed Company and Trust policies and procedures.

The Portering Service provides 24 hours per day, days per year (HDH) and from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 12:00 noon at weekends to Ripon Community Hospital.

The Portering Service applies to all areas of Harrogate District Hospital, Ripon Community Hospital Site and any other healthcare site under HDFT or as detailed by HIF.
