Advert for Senior MRI Imaging Care Assistant (Band 3)

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Imaging Care Assistant (ICA) (band 3) to expand their HCA /ICA career by supporting the MRI team at the BRIC centre.

Consideration could also be given as a trainee post for someone wishing to starting a healthcare career as trainee HCA/ICA.

Trainees would start at a band 2 moving to a band 3 upon satisfactory completion of required training and competencies.

The MRI dept 2x 3T Siemens Vida MRI scanners, a 1.5T Siemens Sola, 2x 1.5T Philips Ingenia scanners and the Brain Research Imaging Centre (BRIC) 3T Siemens Prisma scanner supporting both clinical and academic research.

We perform a wide range of MRI examinations

We operate extended days and weekends, with an out-of-hours (nights and bank holidays) commitment to on-call from home

The Senior MRI ICA will be expected to support the daily operational flow for in and outpatient MRI services, on and off site.

The post holder will be expected to be departmental mainly during the weekdays, although there may be a need to work some weekends and bank holidays by arrangement,to support the service.

Flexible working patterns can be supported if they fit in with service needs.
