Job description:

What's the role?

The Associate Director, Recognition and Financial Insights is an exciting opportunity to lead some of Ofqual's most important regulatory processes.

Ofqual is committed to encouraging a dynamic and growing market while appropriately safeguarding the fairness and standards of, and confidence in, regulated qualifications in that market.

You will gain an unparalleled oversight of the whole regulated qualifications market and play a pivotal role in delivering Ofqual's statutory objectives.

Who we are looking for?

You will lead an experienced team with expertise in assessment and finance, so first and foremost, you will be an excellent leader, with a track record of delivering excellent performance and motivating and developing your teams.

You will combine a commitment to delivering excellence through regulatory processes with a curiosity and drive to improve those processes.

You will be comfortable dealing with the detail of individual decisions and cases while seeing the big picture and connections that can help Ofqual to improve its work as a regulator.

You will thrive working with a diverse range of individuals and teams to find solutions to a varied range of complex problems, building strong relationships and quickly establishing credibility.
