Based in our HQ office in Bollington, Cheshire, UK, however, we offer great flexibility and hybrid working.
Whilst virtual client engagement and execution of research has been virtual since 2020, we do expect travel to be part of this role in the future.

Role
Due to successful client growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Services Executive to join Adelphi Research based in our UK HQ office in Cheshire.
Working alongside another Senior Project Services Executive, you will be responsible for providing internal support to client-facing teams through delivery of timely and accurate project budgets and through commissioning and management of
- Ensure all contracts and task orders are in place for each project you are costing and commissioning with vendors
- Develop strong working relationships with vendors whilst ensuring we gain quality and price satisfaction
- Ensure accuracy and timely receipt of invoices for your projects
- As a key member of the project team you will ensure that all documents are stored appropriately and confidentially and all materials follow our internal version control system so they can be easily identified and retrieved
- Liaise with external vendors to obtain competitive and robust costs and feasibility information
- Ensure that the rates used align to individual client contract agreements
- Ensure that the project budgets are realistic and also that the level of profit margin is acceptable
- You will be a positive role model and help in the development coaching and mentoring of junior staff in costing and vendor management
- You must be able to demonstrate the following to enter at the Senior level:
- Evidence of experience in a costing and vendor management role, or transferable skills in a similar role
- Ability to negotiate costs whilst developing strong vendor relationships
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently motivated
- Attention to detail is crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines and able to multitask
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Client service mentality
- And most importantly, passion for what you do and a personal desire to work as part of team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Alevels (or equivalent) or Degree level qualified (2:1 as a minimum in a relevant area)
- Ability to demonstrate 23 years relevant experience, ideally in a fastpaced agency environment for the Senior role
The Person:
You will possess strong organisational skills and be willing to learn, and follow, internal processes and industry regulations.
As a team player, you are able to multi-task and deliver a high standard of work at all times, often under tight deadlines.
You will understand the elements that are important drivers of project cost and are comfortable in creating and updating project budgets.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential as you will be expected, following training, to create and update project cost spreadsheets and ensure appropriate version control.
In addition to this you will be an excellent communicator, confident in both written and verbal forms as you will be commissioning suppliers on behalf of Adelphi Research.
In addition to excellent English, foreign language skills (German, French, Italian or Spanish) would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
Role requirements:
Working under the guidance of a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the commissioning and day-to-day management of external vendors.
