Join our vibrant Garment Tachnology team as a Junoir Technologist

At JoJo we work across a wide range of own-brand baby and children's clothing, nursery and toys. As our Junior Technologist, you will be specialising in children's fashion.

Working closely with the Design and Buying teams, to ensure our designs are produced to schedule and are developed to high quality and safety standards.

This oppurtunity is tailor-made for a Junior Technologist or equivalent with a background in lifestyle retail or supplier environments eager to advance their skills.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Attend team production meetings with Technical, Buying and Design teams to ensure the Critical Path is on track.
  • Issue Tech packs to our suppliers after breifing
  • Measure and fit garments; lead the fit sessions, take clear and detailed notes, and update the paperwork to send to suppliers.
  • Control production delivery and liaise with Quality Control in DC when required.
  • Update own knowledge and selftrain on legislation & guidelines regarding safety standards.
  • Ensure appropriate labelling and care information is actioned.
  • Ensure required testing is actioned and approved for the UK and other countries this includes organisation of necessary samples, instructing testing, reviewing, approving, and filing results.
  • Ensure key spreadsheets and documents are complete and communicated.
  • Ensure labelling and packaging instructions are followed

What we look for in you:

  • A good understanding of the clothing critical path.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to liaise with all departments within JoJo and our supply base.
  • Good understanding of garment construction, fitting, approval and fabric testing.
  • Confidence using Excel and similar spreadsheets.
  • Work well under pressure and meet work deadlines.
  • Resilient to a changing and agile environment
  • Work quickly and to a high standard with fantastic organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proven effective time management and an aptitude to learn whilst in the role.
