Hays Accountancy & Finance are supporting a leading Ipswich-based organisation who are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Analyst / Project Accountant to join the finance team on a 3-monh temporary job starting early January 2026.Responsibilities
- Own the aged debt ledger, prioritise recovery activity, analyse ageing trends, and work with Credit Control to reduce days sales outstanding.
- Investigate unidentified receipts, apply cash accurately, and improve matching processes to minimise unapplied balances.
- Identify, investigate and correct journal posting errors; implement controls to prevent recurrence and ensure ledger accuracy.
