This is a newly created role and you will work alongside a full multidisciplinary team including SaLT, Psychiatry, Psychologist and Nursing.
We offer direct support froma Regional Clinical Lead, manageable caseloads, effective supervision, and full access to sensory suite along with cutting edge programme opportunities throughout the group.

Our schools and colleges provide support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Asperger Syndrome, Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties, Social,Emotional Mental Health and Complex Needs.
Job role
Your role will be to provide specialised SEN Occupational Therapy for a defined caseload of children with OT specified in their EHCPand to take the lead in developing the quality of EHCP's & SEN OT provision within the setting.
Working autonomously, you will provide quality assessments, reports and needs led interventions for young people and work with the school staff to embed sensory strategies across our schools and colleges.
Taking a "hands on" approach it is essential that you will be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills.

Requirements:
A degree or a post graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy
Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and RCOT
Experience in working with ASD and/or learning disabilities (preferred)
A specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs (preferred)
A highly organised professional ready to take the initiative.
