A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established Personal Injury firm based on the outskirts of Ellesmere port near Chester set in an idyllic business park.

My clients firm specialises in Personal Injury, Road Traffic Accidents and Credit Hire.

This current position is to join the Portal team as a fee earner as well as assist with the setup of new set up claims that come into the company.


They are looking someone with a Credit Hire - customer service background, outstanding work ethic, computer literate and has an excellent telephone manner.


Responsibilities:


  • Process and analyse liability/accident circumstances where liability is in dispute to determine reasonable claims
  • Submitting Small Claims Notification Forms via the Portal to third party insurers
  • Reviewing Claimant's Losses and Vehicle Related Losses including Credit Hire
  • Drafting Liability Witness Statements on behalf of the Claimant
  • Issuing proceedings through OIC Portal/MOJ Portal
  • Dealing with liability stage and experience in quantifying
  • File load of approx cases
  • Dealing with telephone calls/communications, general call queries/speaking with clients
  • Making relevant legal expenses enquiries
  • Ensuring cases are progressed efficiently
  • Ability to keep on top of daily duties and selfmanage any given tasks

Personal Specification:


  • A minimum of 2 years Personal Injury experience.
  • Credit hire knowledge
  • MOJ/OIC Portal experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant protocols.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Knowledge of admitted and disputed cases
  • Good attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Committed, organised, and dedicated, positive, upbeat, personable
  • General call queries/speaking with clients
  • Process and analyse liability/accident circumstances where liability is in dispute to determine reasonable claims
  • Submitting Small Claims Notification Forms via the Portal to third party insurers
  • Administration work.
  • Liaising with clients, external sources and insurers to obtain information in relation to claims via the telephone.
  • Liaising/communicating with members of staff that include Solicitors, Fee earners.
