Role OverVIOOH
The Ad Ops Specialist role is responsible for the monitoring of all VIOOH campaigns, ensuring the right internal stakeholders are able to manage the issues and mitigate risk to our customer & partner relationships and impact to our revenue.
This role champions the mantra 'we must 'know about campaign issues before our partners do' takes this to the extreme internally.
This role isn't responsible for solving the issues but rather creating flags, internal communication and process for all campaign related topics
What you'll be working on
- Perform all duties of ad operations including monitoring, troubleshooting, campaign optimizations, and reporting
- Proactively spot issues across all campaigns and effectively communicate status of campaigns, technical issues, launch delays, delivery issues to relevant internal stakeholders
- Help create business rules on what constitutes a problem, and steps to resolution
- Build new dashboards and report using VIOOH data to alert on issues on campaign delivery and issues and problems occurring during the adserving process
- Collaborate with Technical Solutions team and Product solution to improve quality, stability and yield
- _Be the first to spot issues across all campaigns and managing the communication of these issues to all relevant internal stakeholders_
- _Creating a process for alerting (whom) and when (how) internal stakeholders of issues in order to minimise revenue disruption._
- _Be mindful of the deal pacing and deal heath reports that are coming; how does the above interlink with what is being added to the FSADS rollout_
What we want from you
- A good technical understanding of how the programmatic landscape and how AdTech platforms work. DSPs, DMPs and PMPs etc.
- Experience in campaign management and optimization and data analysis
- Experience within the digital ecosystem ad server functionality, including configuration and how everything works
- Working knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript and HTML
- Solid understanding of advertising campaign setup and metrics
- Ability to analyse programmatic bid data and/or interpret campaign performance and implement informed optimizations
Person Specification
- At least 2 years' experience in an advertising, media or data technology company
- Good understanding of programmatic advertising technologies; predominantly DSPs and SSPs technologies
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and a focus on thorough conclusion of projects
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build relationships
- Good ability to resolve and articulate complex technical concepts and issues, and translate to nontechnical teams
