Business Intelligence Specialist-
Responsibilities

  • Create visually appealing and interactive dashboard / reports that support business decision making.
  • Contribute to process and solution design that enable internal stakeholders to use and understand data faster.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders across multiple teams in high visibility projects.
  • Support D&T in development of core datasets across various data sources, ensuring reporting requirements are met including reconciliation and validation of data.
  • Manage and oversee BI projects and working teams.
  • Document processes and procedures and develop userfriendly training materials.
  • Provide technical support and user training sessions.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Person Specification

  • 2+ years handson experience in BI tools such as Power BI or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in developing visualization reports and dashboards using BI tools with the ability to interpret data from business perspective and drive analytics solutions
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects when needed, analyse large data sets for actionable insights and communicate plans and findings effectively to internal stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute and able to communicate effectively to both financial and nonfinancial audiences.
  • Strong focus on the "big picture" of the business and our greater team goals. Ability to effectively communicate and explain complex system and accounting issues to nontechnical users.
  • Ability to work well both independently and with others under pressure / tight deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and helping others. Team player with strong work ethic and a focus on constant improvement.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Proven experience in learning new data tools quickly and executing in these tools.
