The role, Senior Finance Business Partner...

a role where you will be at the heart of an extremely successful Private Equity backed business based in Nottingham.

Reporting to the Group CFO and with extensive engagement with the Group CEO, COO, and other senior colleagues, this role is critical in driving analytical and commercial best practice, efficiencies and profit across the business.

The Opportunity...

Providing meaningful financial analysis, input and advice to the divisional management team, Group CEO and COO on both operational issues and commercial decisionmaking; including completion and/or commercial review of pricing policy, all investment opportunities,acquisitions, business cases and capex requirements, and the subsequent tracking of costs and benefits.
Providing incisive and userfriendly management information and reporting to the MD, the wider management team and Group management, identifying business implications in complex data or information, interpreting variances and trends and relating theseto operational performance.
Helping to prepare the Division's monthly trading updates and board reports.
Work with the businesses and other stakeholders to ensure the KPIs used in the business are appropriate and effective

Who the client is looking for...

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with related postqualification commercial finance experience

Experience working with, influencing and challenging both financial and non-financial stakeholders

Maintains and demonstrates financial awareness and current knowledge imparting an appreciation of the financial consequences flowing from commercial decisions, internal policy changes and exogenous factors
Broad financial management background in a multisite B2B (or similar)
Able to demonstrate evidence of working in a growing organisation with the ability to bridge the gap between finance and senior commercial & operational teams
