We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a leading accountancy practice based in Cambridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join a dynamic team and make a real impact in a growing business.

Benefits:

Responsibilities:

Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Maintain an organised filing system for all financial documents
Assist with the implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
General ad hoc duties as and when required

Requirements:

AAT qualification or equivalent bookkeeping certification
Proven experience in a bookkeeping role in a UK accountancy practice
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in a variety of accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
