Overview:


Our client is an established SME with a global customer base and supply chain, gearing up for a new growth phase.

They're based in Sheffield specializing in supplying engine parts and components, and are seeking an energetic and ambitious individual to join as the Head of Operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of growth and performance.
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to drive sustainable growth and maintain profit margins.
  • Improve supply chain efficiency, accuracy, and costeffectiveness through process enhancements and automation.
  • Analyze and optimize operational processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align operational activities with business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and encourage learning and development within the team.
  • Provide strong leadership, motivate team members, and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 years experience in a management role
  • Proven expertise in suggesting and implementing business improvements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Finance and accounting: working knowledge of budgeting cash forecasting and balance sheet

Working Hours:


  • 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility within core hours, e.g. 84, 95
