We are looking for Legal Co-Ordinator to provide a support service to a specialist team, in order to ensure compliance and risk analyst.


To support the Legal Manager with the on-going monitoring of the group entity Risk Profiles by being involved with undertaking, analysing and recording results of periodic risk and control assessments across the group entities and escalation of exceptions to the Legal Manager.


To support the Legal Manager in the maintenance of an effective operational loss incident management process by assisting with the collation, investigation and reporting of attempted theft and loss events from the group fleet.


To maintain an on-going awareness of new and / or emerging risks to the business, and ensuring such information is shared with the Executive Management Team and that these risks are captured appropriately.


To maintain an on-going awareness of regulatory and industry risk management developments and ensure that the Executive Management Team informed and action is taken as necessary.


To support the Legal team by undertaking any ad-hoc risk management projects and activities as and when required by the Legal Manager.


The role will suit someone who has a degree of self-reliance, as they will be responsible for a specific set of tasks and preferably good working knowledge of the insurance industry, but this is not essential.

What will you be doing?_

As a Legal Co-Ordinator, your core responsibilities will be

  • Analyse Users, vehicles and fine data to find patterns and anomalies
  • Chargebacks management
  • Create, review performance and edit risk awareness
  • Serve as a focal point for all breach of compliance and risk awareness within the fleet.
  • Keep, enhance and be accountable for the payments for motor fines and/or offences
  • Suggest and implement new measures to counter abuse of company policy
  • Analyse user Journey to ensure minimum friction to company out of hours policy.
  • Manage communications to the wider organisation on matters of compliance.
  • Development / management of the Compliance Framework.
  • Measure performance against all obligations and track gaps through effective action plans and reporting.
  • Track, manage and fulfil actions across the business in full and on time. Management of Compliance documentation.
  • Support management of the Risk and Controls Matrix, ensuring owners for all risks and agreed mitigations are defined.
  • Track developments, share insight with executive management team and propose adjustments where required.
  • Develop, manage, and produce effective reporting MI and data analysis as required by team and wider business.
  • Lead and deliver compliance projects and investigate new technologies in support of compliance and/or operational colleagues. Report and make recommendations on findings.
  • Support other functions and deliver required reporting into the Business
  • Responsible for the administration and handling of fines received nationally
  • To accurately assess all claims and respond to parties with concise detailed information/documentation required to reject or giving full explanation of settlement.
  • Ensure all recovery aspects of fines are monitored, recorded and amounts due are obtained
  • To accurately input fines payments accurately
  • Examining data and ensuring the accurate keeping of records
  • Receive and review daily work load on the Internal System (training given)
  • Provide Legal Guidance to area's of the business.
  • You will liaise with your line manager regarding any issues, queries or areas of concern may arise
  • Process all fine notifications, further advice and collection in accordance with the procedures
  • You will manage your own workload, you will need to be someone with administrative skills who will be task focused and want to develop and nurture their career with us
  • Ensure all relevant inward and outward correspondence is added to each file in the correct order, including notes of any telephone conversation
  • Management of trackers as required

Skills & Qualifications required:


  • Law Degree (or equivalent)
  • Timely resolutions of problems or issues raised
  • Work on initiative, proactive and willing to challenge
  • Team contribution, quality of work presented to agreed requirements
  • Excellent time management, meeting tight deadlines
  • Quality and accuracy of data input and output
  • Effective communication and contribution to the team deliverables
  • Strong IT skills and competency in computer systems especially in MS Office
  • Eligible to work in the UK
