Part-time Accounts Assistant - London, United Kingdom - Morgan McKinley
Description
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant for a two day a week role within a small accounts team at a lovely client of ours who will report to the Finance Manager.
The role will involve tasks to bring accounts to Trial Balance level for further review. The accounts package in place is Access Accounts but prior knowledge is not essential.Tasks would include:
- Sales invoice processing from raising to posting on the accounts systems and allocating receipts
- Purchase invoice processing, preparation of payment runs and posting payments to the accounts
- Processing staff expenses claims
- Bank reconciliations, including foreign currency
- Petty Cash reconciliations
- Regular monthly and ad hoc journals posting
- VAT returns
There are other smaller tasks that link in with those above such as maintaining cash receipts and billings forecasts.
Please note this role is part-time and the individual will be required to be in the office 2 days per week.
