    Job Title: Academic Writing Specialist


    We are currently seeking an Academic Writing Specialist to work in close collaboration with subject lecturers to develop and teach study skills within the curriculum across a range of Higher Education programmes.

    The successful candidate will have experience of providing individual and group study skills support, leading literacy development initiatives, and contributing to quality assurance systems. They should also be able to demonstrate high-level digital literacy and advanced communication skills.


    About The Role



    • Designing/documenting bespoke courses, digital resources, workshop plans and individual schemes of work as required

    • Delivering/evaluating teaching and identifying areas for potential improvement

    • Providing feedback on individual student progress in their understanding of academic writing and other relevant study skills

    • Tutorial consultations with students including constructive comments individually tailored for each student's needs


    Papers You'll Need:
    bspresently hold a Master’s degree in a related field or PhD
    Have previous UK HE lecturing experience
    Have strong track record teaching adult learners from diverse backgrounds across HE programmes
