The Role


We are offering a 2-year Merchandising graduate scheme designed to grow the required skills to develop as a future Merchandiser.

Upon completion of the scheme, you will be promoted to Junior Merchandiser.

Through a structured 2-year programme you will develop the analytical and commercial ability to help us gain more insight into what is happening commercially, empower us to make better and faster decisions and help everyone at DCK become more commercially aware.

Your work will have a direct impact on DCKs growth and profitability by ensuring we have the best range for our customers, that we're maximising margin and that we're getting the best returns on our stock.


You will use our new merchandising and commercial analytical tools, reports, and processes to allow our Buyers and Merchandisers to answer some of the critical questions needed to trade our business.


  • What's selling across our brands and why?
  • What should we be buying into our stocked range?
  • How do we maximise range without compromising on customer and trend?
  • Are there any gaps in our range?
  • What opportunities are there to improve our margin?
  • How can we better manage our inventory?
  • Is our range priced competitively?
  • How can we better forecast promotional sales?

About you

  • An interest in the fashion or retail market
  • Analytical with strong numerical skills and ability to interpret data and see opportunities
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Great organisation skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • A strong communicator who can build relationships with other functions and problem solve
  • You thrive in a fast paced, busy environment
