This is great opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a well-established and diverse team who provide excellent services to a varied portfolio of clients.


Role:

This North London firm are looking for a driven individual to join their team at a semi senior level.

As a successful applicant you will have strong accounts and audit preparation background and a desire to learn and develop further in your career.

The role is split around 70% Accounts and 30% Audit, however audit training can be provided.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Preparation and submission of statutory accounts
  • FRS 102 1A
  • Limited Companies and LLPs
  • Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns (reviewed by the Tax Department)
  • Assisting senior staff with audits, planning, field work and stock take
  • Independently managing own portfolio of clients
  • Direct liaising with clients
  • Assisting clients with accounts software and other queries as requested
  • Training clients on cloud accounting software

Essential:


  • ACA/ACCA partqualified or qualified
  • Strong accountancy practice experience
  • Ability to work from incomplete records or computerised TBs
  • Advanced Microsoft skills, specifically Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and client service skills
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • Audit exposure

Desirable:


  • Audit experience, but not essential as training is provided
  • CCH Accounts Production, CCH Corporation Tax software
  • Xero Accountancy Software
  • Pro-Audit Software and Virtual Cabinet
