Burford, Oxfordshire (with hybrid working)

The Organisation

We support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through our rehoming, veterinary and education programmes.

We are now looking for anIntegration Specialist to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

Using a range of structural data design tools, you'll develop data repositories and warehouses from scratch, ensuring they are implemented in a secure and sustainable way.


Your role will also involve:

  • Redesigning and migrating existing integrations
  • Developing robust working methodologies and documentation for nontechnical audiences
  • Developing and implementing ETL pipelines
  • Developing data marts and stores for further integration and enhancements

About You
To be considered as an Integration Specialist, you will need:

  • Experience of working in a systems integration development capacity
  • Experience of delivering complex data structure integration using SFTP/MFT, XML, API, JSON, and SOAP and REST automation/Web services


  • Expert SQL skills

  • T-SQL (SP, Views, SSRS, SSIS)
  • To be confident in the use of DevOps and/or code release management
  • The proven capability of requirements interpretation and analysis, referencing for engagement with endusers and compiling technical documentation and instructions
  • Security awareness and understanding in relation to data storage and transport
Salary grade: 4.1
