London or Oxford offices (or hybrid within the UK)- Up to £60k plus comprehensive package including 28 days holiday, health/life insurance, contributory pension and annual bonus plan
Working within an excellent specialist Health Economics and Outcomes Research Consultancy, the incoming Statistician will work closely with project managers from the value communication and health economics teams to deliver high-quality evidence-based projects for their clients.
Specifically; you will be involved in the preparation of study protocols (including statistical analysis plans, specifying table shells and figures), preparation of datasets for analysis and undertaking of required analyses and quality assurance reviews of statistical models.
Previous experience as a Statistician within either an academic, public sector or consulting setting is important and you should have completed a post-graduate degree in medical statistics, statistics or similar, be comfortable working with statistical software packages (e.g; R, STATA) and with Excel.
Experience of working with patient level data or large individual level data sets is relevant and you should have the ability to implement survival analysis, generalised linear models, multilevel models and to draw inference between parameters and clinical endpoints.
