Workshop Operative_

Duties and responsibilities:_

  • Refurbishing customer owned point of sale, banking and computer equipment _
    (No experience is necessary as training will be provided)_
  • Processes are completed as appropriate and customer parts are correctly refurbished per customer requirements (_
    Training will be provided)_
  • Ensure all customer owned equipment is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with company procedures (_
    Training will be provided)_
  • Provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to all customers, ensuring the workshop process is followed accurately
  • Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and complies with company and legislative standards at all times
  • Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions
  • Ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation compiled with, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your line manager
  • Ensure all packaging waste is disposed of safely and in line with company processes, recycling wherever possible
  • Always create a good impression of TVS and adhere to company rules and standards
  • Refresh on processes to ensure this can be achieved effectively

Must have:_

  • GCSE level of education
  • The ability to work with a wide selection of hand tools
  • Honesty, reliability and punctual
  • The ability to communicate in English to receive written and verbal instructions

Job details_
Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
Flexible start time, start between 7am - 8am and finish at 3.30pm - 4.30pm working a minimum of 8 and half hours with
30 mins of unpaid breaks and 25 mins of paid breaks.


Pay:
From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
