Business Coordinator for ISO is required on
a permanent contract paying
up to £37, depending on experience) plus £3,033.56 London Allowance (if applicable) with British Transport Police (BTP)
.


The role can be based in one of the following locations: London Baches Street (Old street), Bristol, Cardiff, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow.

As an
ISO Business Coordinator with BTP you will report to the
Operational Delivery Manager in the Scientific Support Unit (SSU).

As an
ISO Business Coordinator (SSU) will be required to:

  • Support the creation and implementation of ISO technical and non-technical processes in accordance with ISO 17020/17025 and Forensic Science Regulator (FSR) Code of Practices.
  • Undertake complex analytical and technical activities on existing and future processes, communicate results to managers and Senior Managers through effective reports and presentations, and provide advice on significant results, detailing options for consideration and the potential impact of such options.
  • Support the development, implementation and management of validation and verification work, adhering to documented guidance as outlined by the FSR, ISO standards and other relevant legislative requirements.
The successful post holders will be required to evidence the following:

  • Experience in a relevant ISO 17020/17025 accredited department or significant experience of working in scene of crime environment.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Health & Safety in the work environment, ISO 17020/17025 or Forensic Science Regulator's Code of Practice is desirable.
