Description

All teachers will be responsible to the line manager and to the Head for ensuring the general good order and discipline of the school, and the implementation of all policies.

All staff are expected to have a clear understanding of the aims, objectives and ethos of the school, and an awareness of its role in the community.

It is essential that the academic and pastoral frameworks in the school are seen as inter
- related. The post holder is expected to be sensitive to the expectations of the local community.

To lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment within the department, facilitating best practice sharing and outstanding resources.

To review and revise the curriculum to cater for the needs and abilities of all students within the Department. Collaborating with staff to create Schemes of Work and a unified sense of purpose within the department.
