We are expanding our dedicated in-house Development Team, recruiting for our next Product Owner to come and join our highly talented team.

The role of a Product Owner at Unity5, is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Flexibility is offered for the role of hybrid working (attached to our Head Office location at Winslade House, Exeter).

Role Overview

As a Product Owner you will work with the product team to lead the development of their SaaS software offering.

You will work alongside the development team to ensure that stories, acceptance criteria, quality and functional goals are met, using Agile Methodologies.

You will build excellent working relationships with the key stakeholders, translate the requirements to create stories that form the teams backlogs and prioritise them in order to give business value and represent the overall priorities.

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:

Able to communicate as to act as a conduit between stakeholders and the development team
Contribute towards the creation and maintenance of the product backlog made up of strategic developments, customer enhancements, technical debt and defects and balance priorities accordingly.
Take lead in championing new developments at scrum ceremonies to the rest of the business
Gather specifications and requirements from multiple sources to efficiently feed the development team and maintain ownership of the functionality until delivery.

You will ideally have experience working in a technical or cloud based environment and have experience working in a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Quality Analyst role.
