What we're looking for:


We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract to provide a range of administrative services, some basic connections analysis and provide a first-class service to maintain our standards of service within the Distribution Systems Management team.


We'll trust you to:


  • Ensure records of work activities are maintained to satisfy our legal requirements.
  • Work effectively within the team to promote excellent customer service and performance.
  • Provide administrative support to the team of network analysts.
  • Assist with the maintenance of data to allow the building, validating, and analysing of <7 bar models.

You'll need to have:


  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A high standard of keyboard skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • A positive attitude and the ability to operate individually and as part of a team

The following knowledge and experiences are also desirable:

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures and a clear understanding of the Wales & West Utilities business.
  • Knowledge of the Ofgem RIIO framework.
  • Knowledge of the below 7 bar gas transportation networks.
  • Experience and knowledge of using spread sheets and databases.
  • Experience of working with Synergi, CRM and GIS.
