The Company

The Role

As Sheet Metal Worker, you will join a team of 7 and carry out general sheet metal operations in a production environment, including brake press operation, hand forming and stretching of materials such as stainless steel and aluminium.

You will receive ongoingsupport to develop and grow your skill set as you gain a greater understanding of the product range.

Duties:

Conduct sheet metal and machining operations
Shrinking, stretching, brake press, hand forming, general cutting, drilling and riveting.
Be responsible for daytoday maintenance and risk assessment of machinery and working area.
Participate in the quality control processes.
Participate in continuous improvement project
Work to a high standard of manufacturing

Working Hours:

39hrs per week

Monday - Thursday - 7:15am - 16:15pm

Friday 7:15am - 12:15pm

Person Specification

Previous experience as a Sheetmetal Worker
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Experience using a press brake machine.
Experienced in manual drilling, stretching, hand forming, general cutting and riveting
A strong work ethic, positive attitude with good attention to detail.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Prioritise workloads.
