About us
ARK joinery and Timber Framing Limited has an opening for a experienced joiner and wood machinist.


Responsibilities:

- measuring and marking out accurately working to drawings
- be able to use woodworking machines safely such as: morticer, tenoner, planer thicknesser, spindle moulder, four sided planer, crosscut saw, panel saw and resaw
- ensures good house keeping and that your surroundings are clean and hazard free
- carrying out safe working practices in the workplace are a must.
- be punctual and on time

Items we expect you to be able to produce:

• box sash windows and Yorkshire lights

- casement windows flush and storm proof
- traditional doors and frames

Items we would like you to have knowledge in but not essential:

• oak timber framing

- staircase manufacture
- wood finishings
- forklift truck training


Pay:
£14.00-£16.50 per hour
