**Trainee Technician
The ideal role for graduates looking to get their career started

Do you have an interest in musical devices?


OA are working with a company based in Bedford who is looking for someone to come in with enthusiasm and drive to learn and progress as their company does.

This company prides itself on the quality and standards of its calibration certificates and looking to better themselves further.


The Trainee technician would be working directly with the Calibration Manager to ensure the best training and techniques for the technician to perform to a high standard necessary for the role.


Salary & Benefits for the
Trainee
T echnician:

  • Between £24,000 to £28,000 pa (experience dependant)
  • Pension
  • Flexible working hours
  • 25 days holiday
  • No Bank holiday working

Experience & Skills required for the
Trainee Technician:

  • A great level of attention to detail
  • Quick learner
  • Open mindset and ability to learn
  • Computer capable
  • Great knowledge and experience using Microsoft office
  • Previous experience with acoustics and vibration is desirable.
Some of the Duties and Responsibilities of the
Trainee
Technician:

  • Calibrating customer instruments, systems and transducers
  • Calibrating new equipment for customers as required
  • Maintenance of calibration equipment and traceability to national standards
  • Liaising with equipment manufacturers to ensure instrument specifications are fully understood
