Servoca Resourcing Solutions are looking for Recovery Worker sfor a social justice charity located in HMP Pentonville for a 3 month contract to start ASAP.


Skills/Experience:


  • Must have valid Prison vetting or Enhanced Level 1 vetting
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends.
  • Experience of working with alcohol and substance misuse service users.
  • Knowledge of complex issues.
  • Experience of assessing services users needs.
  • Knowledge of interventions and making referrals.

Duties:


  • Assess and identify issues with service users relating to drug and alcohol needs.
  • Plan and deliver 1:1 interventions.
  • Assist with training packages.
  • Provide advice to service users with problematic addiction issues.
  • Recruit and coordinate peer mentors.
