o actively and effectively promote the Council's vision, values, aims, objectives and priorities, putting our tenants first through the delivery of best value services.

To coordinate construction activity to ensure that the requirements of the Councils asbestos management plan are followed.

To ensure that asbestos records are maintained and a plan of ongoing surveys and reinspections are carried out within the recommended intervals.

To provide specialist advice and support to staff engaged in works where asbestos may be present.

To ensure that the Councils property and estates are maintained in a safe condition which minimizes risk to the Council as Landlord.

This role is not politically restricted.
