The Role - Management Accountant


Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely management accounting information for the Pinnacle Group Ltd.


Duties/Key Responsibilities

  • Month end close processing journals and preparation of accurate and meaningful monthly Management Accounts in accordance with agreed timescales, liaising with Operation to provide commercial oversight and commentary, for multiple cost centres, divisions,and subsidiaries.
  • Assist with preparation and analysis and commentary of monthly results of circa 450 cost centres/divisions, reporting on significant adverse variances to budget.
  • Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations for all Group companies, including managing accruals, prepayments, and deferred revenue and accrued income.
  • In conjunction with the wider Finance Team and Operations continually look to improve processes, systems, and reporting
  • Support operational management in decision making by providing reliable reporting and adhoc additional information on request
  • Daily Cash flow reporting/monitoring
  • Annual budget process comprehensive commentary on variance analysis of new budget to prior year actuals
  • Assist with annual audit process audit fieldwork
  • Carry out adhoc duties as required.
