Stock Accountant | FMCG (Games) | Central London - Hybrid working | Up to £60,000 per annum | 6 month FTC

A well known and highly regarded FMCG based in central London are hiring a Stock Accountant on a 6-month contract.

This is a hybrid role working 2 days a week in their newly refurbished luxury offices including a large gaming area, modern kitchen and openplan working spaces.

You will be reporting into the Financial Controller and be completing a project to iron out their stock control processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assist management accounts team with stock reconciliation and maintaining correct stock levels in Sage warehouses for UK and US companies
Reconcile Sage to the Third-Party Warehouse and new warehouse counts at year end
Investigate all discrepancies and provide audit trail for any write offs or adjustments
Be point of contact for Credit Control team in terms of invoicing/credit discrepancies from customers
Ensure there is a strong audit trail in work undertaken on stock and be able to explain this thoroughly at audit
Review sales and licensing data and work with sales teams to calculate year end stock provisions
Adhoc audit reporting

To be successful you should be recently qualified with an audit background with experience working with FMCG clients who work with tangible goods.

You must also be immediately available to start working.
