Sole & Duck is a family run Modern British restaurant based in the former Coach and Horses, a charming early 17th-century building standing proudly on the High Street of Trumpington, Cambridge.

The restaurant offers a refreshing take on British cuisine, by bringing exotic Asian influences and perspectives to produce contemporary British Asian fusion menus.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service consistently.
• Serve food and drinks according to restaurant standards.
• Keep uptodate with menus.
• Recommend and upsell food and drinks.
• Support the Back of House team in delivering outstanding service.
• Keep the Front of House area and facilities clean and organised.
• Involve in the daily opening and closing tasks.
• Adhere to restaurant policies and procedures.

Experience, Knowledge and Competency

• A passion for food and drinks.
• Preferably at least 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality.

Qualities, Attitude and Soft Skills

• Friendly, polite and well spoken. A people person.
• Fluent in English if it's your second language.
• Able to communicate with confidence.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Selfmotivated and strive to improve performance.

Working hours and Schedule

• Fixed hours (Wednesday to Sunday). Minimum 6 hours a week.
• Parttime: Flexible hours, mostly Friday and Saturday evening shifts and Sunday day shift
