Main purpose of Job:

To prepare and to assist with the accurate preparation of the Purchase Ledger for Euro Foods Group.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:


Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Match supplier invoices with PO's and deal with any differences
  • Enter and code purchase invoices onto the system
  • Assist with completing the daily collection envelopes
  • Assist Managing director with payment runs
  • Assist with manual and online payments including cheques and Bacs
  • Deal with supplier queries and statements
  • Have good accuracy and management of time skills
  • Assist with incoming telephone calls as and when required

Person Specification

  • At least 1 year experience in a finance department
  • Sage Line 1000 experience preferable but other Sage/accounts packages experience will be considered
  • Able to use Excel and Word
This will be a part time role working 25-30 hours across Monday to Friday. Specific hours and salary will be negotiable.
