Main purpose of Job:
To prepare and to assist with the accurate preparation of the Purchase Ledger for Euro Foods Group.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Match supplier invoices with PO's and deal with any differences
- Enter and code purchase invoices onto the system
- Assist with completing the daily collection envelopes
- Assist Managing director with payment runs
- Assist with manual and online payments including cheques and Bacs
- Deal with supplier queries and statements
- Have good accuracy and management of time skills
- Assist with incoming telephone calls as and when required
Person Specification
- At least 1 year experience in a finance department
- Sage Line 1000 experience preferable but other Sage/accounts packages experience will be considered
- Able to use Excel and Word
