Aim Recruitment are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our clients finance team, based in Colchester.
As a Finance Assistant, you will provide crucial support to the finance department by performing various administrative and financial tasks.
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with financial record-keeping, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and providing general support to the finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in finance and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and responsibilities include- Managing the purchase ledger function
- Monthly payroll function
- Oversight of the nominal ledger
- General administrative duties
The appointment of the Finance Assistant is to provide a comprehensive service, supporting and advising staff in all aspects of finance, and providing administrative support to the Assistant Head of Finance and Head of Finance & Operations.
The successful applicant must be a credible finance professional who is comfortable with the wider, more general responsibilities incumbent on a member of the non-teaching team within an educational organisation.
